Stony Brook Athletics Guests to Highlight WUSB's "Sports Section" On Sunday

Stony Brook, N.Y. - Guests from the staff of Stony Brook University's athletics department will be featured on this week's edition of the Sports Section that airs on Sunday nights on WUSB (FM 90.1) radio. Director of Athletics, Jim Fiore; Head Football Coach, Chuck Priore; and Assistant Men's Basketball Coach, Dan Rickard, will all be guests on the show that begins at 9:00 p.m and will air live from The Bench Bar & Grill in Stony Brook.

Fiore will be the first Stony Brook athletics guest on the program, joining hosts Jeff Bernstein and Curt Hylton at 9:15 p.m. At 9:30 p.m. Priore will be on and talk about the upcoming 2009 season for the football team, a season that begins in less than three weeks when the Seawolves report for fall preseason camp on August 9. Rickard will then follow at 9:45 to update fans on the men's basketball program. Also scheduled to appear on the program is former Stony Brook basketball player Solomon Bamiro, who now plays professionally for the Harlem Globtrotters.
