Stony Brook featured in February's lacrosse publications

Stony Brook, N.Y. - The Stony Brook men's lacrosse team is featured prominently in this month's major lacrosse publications. Head Coach Rick Sowell is flanked by seniors Kevin Crowley (New Westminster, British Columbia) and Jordan McBride (New Westminster, British Columbia) on the cover on Lacrosse Magazine, while Crowley is profiled by Terry Foy of Inside Lacrosse.
February's cover of Lacrosse Magazine, taken by John Mecionis, was shot over the course of the morning on Saturday, December 11.
The Crowley article was done through numerous interviews in December and January.
Both publications feature its college previews. Lacrosse Magazine has Stony Brook ranked fourth, while Inside Lacrosse has the Seawolves at eight.
The 2011 season gets underway on February 26, when Stony Brook hosts top-ranked Virginia at 12 p.m.
