STONY BROOK'S JORDAN MCBRIDE NAMED ALL-AMERICAN FOR SECOND TIME

Stony Brook, N.Y. - Sophomore Jordan McBride (New Westminster, B.C.) has been selected as an All-American by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association for a second straight year after an outstanding 2009 season for the Stony Brook University men's lacrosse team. An honorable mention selection at attack, he becomes the first two-time lacrosse All-American in the 21-year history of the sport at Stony Brook.

A first team All-America East pick in 2009, McBride led Stony Brook in goals for a second straight season with 42. His total also led all players in the America East and is currently tied for fifth in the nation. His goals per game average of 2.80 is third nationally while he is ranked 15th in points per game at 3.33. McBride scored at least one goal in every game but one in 2009, netting a season-high five three times. His 86 career goals are eighth all-time at Stony Brook.
