Former Stony Brook Lacrosse All-American Kevin Crowley scored his fifth goal of the game 3:27 into overtime to give the Philadelphia Wings a 10-9 win over the Washington Stealth on Saturday night at the Wells Fargo Center.Crowley, who also drew an assist needed just over seven minutes to record a natural hat trick. He scored off his own rebound 78 seconds into the contest, extended Philadelphia’s lead to 2-0 at 7:02 after a challenge call was ruled inconclusive, then scored eight seconds after that to complete his second hat trick in as many pro indoor games.
His short-handed tally midway through the fourth quarter gave the Wings a 9-7 lead.
On Thursday, Crowley was named NLL rookie of the week after scoring five goals with three assists in a Week 2 loss to Rochester in Week 2.
Drew Westervelt had a hat trick, Brendan Mundorf scored twice and Brandon Miller made 48 saves for Philadelphia (1-1).
Cam Sedgwick and Matt Beers each scored two goals for Washington (0-2), which got 34 saves from Tyler Richards
